Loretta Ellsworth

Loretta Ellsworth grew up in Iowa and lives in Minnesota. She’s a former teacher and graduated from the University of Northern Iowa, and later graduated from Hamline University with a Master’s Degree in Writing for Children. She’s the author of four young adult novels, The Shrouding Woman, In Search of Mockingbird, In a Heartbeat, and Unforgettable. Her adult novel STARS OVER CLEAR LAKE, set in Iowa during WW II, was published in 2017 (paperback in 2020) by Thomas Dunne Books. She teaches writing workshops across the country.
