Lian Dolan

Lian Dolan is a writer and podcaster. She is the author of three best-selling novels, The Sweeney Sisters, Helen of Pasadena and Elizabeth the First Wife. Lian’s books are stories of contemporary women filled with humor, heart and some history. Her latest book Lost and Found in Paris, an art history treasure hunt, comes out in April 2022. In addition to her fiction, she has written regular humor columns for Pasadena Magazine, O Magazine and Working Mother Magazine. In addition to writing, she hosts and produces the popular podcast, Satellite Sisters, a long-running talk show shea created with her four real sisters. Satellite Sisters is a pep talk for modern women and has been featured on The Today Show, CBS Sunday Mornings and The Oprah Winfrey show. Lian lives in Pasadena, CA with her husband, her big German shepherd and two grown sons nearby. She loves talking to book clubs and organizations about her work and her life with her trademark humor and heart.
