Kristina McMorris

Kristina McMorris is a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of five historical novels, including The Edge of Lost and her newest release, Sold on a Monday. She blames her grandparents’ WWII courtship letters for inspiring a career that requires her to sit alone for countless hours, transcribing conversations between imaginary people. On the upside, those resulting works of fiction have garnered more than two dozen awards and nominations, most notably the IMPAC Dublin Literary Award and RWA’s Rita Award.

Prior to her publishing ventures, she hosted weekly TV shows for Warner Bros. and an ABC affiliate, beginning at age nine with an Emmy Award-winning program, and worked as the PR director of an international conglomerate. She also owned a wedding- and event-planning company until she had far surpassed her limit of YMCA- and chicken dances. She lives in Oregon with her husband and their two sons, and is equally honored and excited to be part of the NovelNetwork.
