Kathy Cooperman

Kathy Cooperman spent four years performing improvisational comedy, then decided to do something less fun with her life.  After graduating from Yale Law School, she went into criminal law, defending “innocent” (rich) clients.  These days, she lives in Del Mar, California, with her husband and four challenging young children.  Her first book, CRIMES AGAINST A BOOK CLUB (Lake Union Publishing), was an Amazon bestseller. It told the story of two middle-aged, middle class best friends who raised cash by selling bogus luxury face cream to the well heeled ladies of La Jolla. Her second book, THE VERY PRINCIPLED MAGGIE MAYFIELD (released 10/23/18) focuses on an elementary school principal in Carmel Valley and her unconventional attempts to keep her school–and her love life–afloat.
