Carol Orange

Carol Orange has worked in the art world for more than 20 years. She began as a research editor on art books in London and later became an art dealer in Boston. She lived in Paris for two years, where she researched George Sand's life and writing. Her short story "Delicious Dates" was included in Warren Adler's 2010 short story collection. She wrote an article about art heist novels for Crime Reads. Her debut novel A Discerning Eye takes off from the tragic theft at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Her protagonist Portia Malatesta is a cunning art dealer who helps solve the mystery of the largest art heist in history. She is currently writing a novel about Nazi-stolen art.
