Alice C. Early

After a career spanning academia, commercial real estate, international executive recruiting, and career-transition coaching, I returned to my first love—writing fiction. My debut novel, The Moon Always Rising, is about a young Scottish woman restarting her life in the tropics after tragic losses, and gaining the courage to open herself to love again. It received the National Indie Excellence Award for Women’s Fiction and the 2020 American Fiction Award for Cross-Genre Fiction. My husband and I live year-round on Martha’s Vineyard and have visited Nevis, where much of this novel is set, annually since 1996. One of my greatest joys as an author is meeting with readers, in person or virtually, and learning from their questions and reactions.
