Bio | Sally Cole-Misch is a lifelong writer, award-winning journalist and author, and US-Canadian public affairs officer who advocates for our water, air and land through work and play. Her debut novel released in September 2020, The Best Part of Us, immerses readers in a breathtaking natural world, a fresh perspective on loyalty, and an exquisite ode to the essential roles that family, nature, and place hold in all of our lives. The novel was chosen as a Top Book Club Pick by Brit & Company and by NetGalley, Pop Sugar’s Top 25 Book of September, Pick of the Week by Jill’s Cafe, and a Featured New Release and Five-Star Review by Bookbub, as well as top reviews by Kirkus, Readers’ Favorite, Midwest Book Review, Crossroad Reviews, and The Michigan Daily. Sally holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Missouri, a master’s degree in international water policy from the University of Michigan, and a certificate of fiction writing from Stanford University.
