Renee Ryan

Renee Ryan is the Amazon bestselling, multi-published author of historical romance, contemporary romance, and historical fiction. She’s published over 30 novels, including her 2021 WWII-set historical novel The Widows of Champagne and her 2022 release, The Secret Society of Salzburg, and her upcoming 2023 release, The Paris Housekeeper. Renee grew up in Florida, where she learned how to skateboard and surf poorly. She attended Florida State University, was president of her sorority, and earned undergraduate degrees in Economics, Religious Studies, and Latin. She pursued Religious Studies in graduate school, where she explored the Just War Theory in Shakespeare’s Historical plays with a secondary interest in the eschatology of Romeo and Juliet. Renee went on to work in a theme park, a modeling agency, then took a job molding young minds at Leon High School in Tallahassee. She left her position teaching high school Latin, AP Economics and Political Science to pursue her dream of writing full time.
