Bio | Marie Bostwick is a New York Times and USA Today Bestseller of nineteen books of contemporary and historical fiction, which have been translated into ten languages. Drawing on her lifelong love of quilting and themes of special relevance to modern women, Marie’s Cobbled Court Quilt series has gained a dedicated following among quilters as well as those who’ve never threaded a needle. In addition to her contemporary novels, Marie has written three works of World War II era historical fiction. Her debut novel, Fields of Gold, was a finalist for the Oklahoma Book Award. A Thread of Truth, the second book in Marie’s Cobbled Court series, was named an Indie Next Notable book. Three of Marie’s novels were chosen for condensation as Reader’s Digest Select Editions. A film adaptation of her book The Second Sister, “Christmas Everlasting,” debuted on the Hallmark Channel as a Hallmark Hall of Fame feature in November 2018, starring Patti LaBelle. Marie’s most recent novel, The Restoration of Celia Fairchild, published by William Morrow in March 2021, was Country Living magazine’s “Front Porch Read” for March, and was included in Parade magazine’s list of 25 “Favorite Books of Spring” list |
