Helen Fields worked as a trial lawyers, both prosecuting and defending, in the UK for thirteen. Since then she has worked as a producer in a media company, and now writes full time. She writes crime and psychological thrillers. Her “Perfect” series is set in Scotland, and features Detective Inspector Luc Callanach. This bet-selling series has already been optioned for TV and “Perfect Remains” was long-listed last year for Scottish crime book of the year in 2017. The second book in the series “Perfect Prey” reached the no. 1 best selling ebook spot in the UK, even knocking The Handmaid’s Tale off the charts. The series becomes available for paperback purchase in the USA as of July 2018, and is currently being translated for sale across the world. Helen’s first psychological thriller, about a case of attempted murder, will also be published next year. Helen lives near Carlsbad with her husband and three children.
