Boonton Books & Beyond Festival with Carol Van Den Hende and more authors!

November 13 @ 10:00 am - 3:30 pm EST

Free

A festival of the written word.

The Boonton Books and Beyond Festival brings together a New Jersey based community of artists and experts involved with books and the myriad art forms based on the written word. Readers will meet authors, journalists, illustrators, movie makers, graphic artists, rare book sellers, and others whose art or livelihood depends on books.
Multiple authors will be speaking, including Carol Van Den Hende who will share how combat-wounded veterans sparked the story behind award-winning novel Goodbye, Orchid. Learn why Purple Heart decorated veterans endorse the story that GLAMOUR Magazine calls “a modern, important take on the power of love.” Get the inside scoop on the hidden “Easter Egg” design details embedded in GOODBYE, ORCHID. Be lifted by this provocative journey through trauma, that led Springboard Consulting to dub Carol their 2021 Disability Hero of the Year. You’ll leave with fresh perspective, ready to seek your own opportunities for inspiration, and have an opportunity to purchase autographed copies of Goodbye, Orchid!
Boonton’s vibrant downtown and art community make the town the ideal venue for a festival that celebrates our state’s homegrown talent. The town’s community organizations have come together to launch a unique event with something for every visiting book lover.
