The AAUW Unabridged Book Group is self-described as, “[A]n offshoot of the local branch of the American Association of University Women. Our branch is Visalia-Sequoia and we are located in Visalia, California. The group has been ongoing for about 25 years or more. I (book group manager Nancy) am one of the original members. We currently have 13 active members who meet once a month. We are half way between San Francisco and Los Angeles in the Central Valley. We are currently reading The Last Bookshop in London by Madeline Martin, and enjoy reading mostly fiction, historical fiction, biography, etc.”
This group enjoyed a wonderful visit with NYT bestselling author Madeline Martin, and we thank you for sharing this lovely photo with us!
Notice anything different about this picture? Yep, we love seeing book clubs and groups coming together again for live and in-person gatherings, while still providing virtual options for those unable to attend!
When you’re ready, why not visit our website and find an author local to your book club/group and schedule a tangible experience. Not ready for that yet? No problem, the virtual option is always available. We’ve got you covered either way!
